On 1 October 2010, South Lanarkshire leisure expanded to become South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture. The Trust previously managed the operation of sport facilities and services on behalf of South Lanarkshire Council. The remit included the management of community halls, country parks, museums, libraries and art developtment.
As part of the Trust's small Graphic Design team I developed a range of ideas for the new corporate identity. The brief required a two-tone logo and to be recognisable from the already developed corporate identity. The new logo harmonises the Trust's sporting background and new cultural influence is represented through shape and typography.
